After merging two ice cream ventures named Burt's ice cream and Irv robbins's snow bird's ice cream parlour.  Baskin Robbins came to know in 1953. They started their ice cream sales with 21 ice cream flavors. But under ice cream promotional plans, they increased it to 31 ice creams flavors. With selling its franchise to ice cream parlor's manager, they became first food business based franchise seller.

They started with ice cream but also expended themselves to ice cream cake, sundaes and other beverages products. Now BR is known as largest ice cream parlors while selling ice cream among 41 countries with 6800 locations.

BR announces time to time new promotional flavors. They also targeted choice of people based on different countries. They did care about taste of people. They have lots of promotional some of them are for less time period or some for permanent time.

One of promotional plans, is flavor of months. Every month BR announces flavors based on season. Means for winter season, you would enjoy flavor with delicious taste that would be somehow different then summer's flavors.

With different season, BR gave, and would give new taste to celebrate  enjoyment with your groups. With January's winter people tasted with boysenberry patch, following flavors pistachio almond fudge of Feb month  and caramel praline cheesecake.

With coming of spring people also enjoyed new flavor of April month and may month with tea & scones and parley parfait respectively. With summer beginning at June month people enjoyed with coconut grove, making cookies of July month and tropical ice with flavor of August moth.

Starting of rainy seasons is done with super fudge truffle ice cream flavor of September month. With upcoming months, BR has also lots of flavors for months and other promotional plans this year and would make itself as world's largest ice cream seller.
